Science Spotlight
Our unit on Chemical Magic seemed to fly. Students enjoyed experimenting with mixing many household items together, such as vinegar and baking soda to inflate a sealed bag. We have so many budding chemists on our hands!
Monday & Tuesday we will review using this Chemical Magic Review Guide for Wednesday’s assessment. Key points include:
Conservation of Matter: A + B = the total of A + B
Using Data to Make Decisions: Can you read a graph and understand what the numbers are telling you?
Making Graphs: Can you make a graph?
Developing & Using Models: Can you draw a model that shows what happened in the experiment with labels?
Thinking About What You’ve Learned: Can you write detailed sentences about what you learned? (Make sure to re-read the prompt after you finish writing to see if you have answered the question).
