Hello, September!
Wow, what a wonderful week with an awesome group of students! It was great to connect with each of your kids over the past four days and start building our classroom community. NWEA
Wednesday, September 4, 2024 - NWEA Math Assessment
Wednesday, September 11, 2024 - NWEA ELA Assessment
We will reassess students in the Winter and Spring to watch their growth throughout the year. Please help your student do their best by encouraging good sleep, having a good breakfast, and chatting with them about using this assessment to show what they know and that it is OK (and even expected) that they will not know all of the answers. This assessment does adapt to the students based on their selected responses.
Friday Folders
This year students will be bringing home mail on Fridays in their Friday Folder. Please look through their mail for graded work, tests, permission slips, and school information each week. Friday Folders did not come home this week, but keep an eye out for them next week!
Homework:
Please read at least 25 minutes each day.
After your student reads, ask:
Which part was your favorite today?
Share a quote from your book.
